the UT Health Science Center Dental Laboratory Technology Endowed Scholarship (Competitive Scholarship)

Purpose – To provide scholarship support to full-time students enrolled in the Dental Laboratory Technology education program

Eligibility – Full-time enrollment in the Bachelor of Science degree program in the Department of Dental Laboratory Technology; minimum grade point average of 2.5; U. S. citizen or legal resident of the U. S.; demonstrated financial need

Selection Criteria –

Application – Applicants submit scholarship application to the Dental Laboratory Technology Department Scholarship Committee, including an essay on why the applicant is entering the profession and applying for the scholarship

Deadline – Not specified; scholarship is awarded five class days after the Registrar’s official census day

Awards in 2007-2008 – $3200
